Trigger point massage and so-called "kinesio" taping are among the most popular methods when it comes to treating trigger points: the massage puts its hand exactly where it hurts and specifically releases the trigger point. By applying a kinesiology tape, this effect can be sustained in a similar form over the long term.

The Trigger Button can do both! In combination with a high-quality Kinesiology Tape, you can now massage trigger points in the long term and benefit from a supportive tape application at the same time.

Preparation:

•     Cut your kinesio tape to the desired length and cut a small hole where you want to place the trigger button.
•     Take the two parts of the trigger button apart, put the pin of the white side through the hole in the tape and "clip" the counterpart back on so that the tape is "clamped". The orange side of the trigger button must be on the underside of the tape.

Here we go:

1.     Use your fingers to feel the tense areas and trigger points in your muscles.
2.     Place the trigger button on the corresponding spot and fix it with the kinesiology tape. Depending on the previous test, you can apply the tape strip while stretching.
3.     Tape another strip of tape with tension over the trigger button to increase the pressure into the tissue.
4.     Massage your trigger point! Apply pressure to the trigger button, release it and relax your muscles. Repeat the process if it feels good to you.
