The K-Active® group of companies

The K-Active group of companies consists of K-Active Europe GmbH, K-Active Hungary Kft., K-Active Schweiz GmbH and K-Active Maroc s.a.r.l. Furthermore the worldwide training- and and distribution partners for the professional organisation and execution of the K-Active courses and the distribution of the K-Active products.

K-Active Europe GmbH

The K-Active Europe GmbH developed from the company Kinesio Deutschland GmbH. Since 2007 it is under this own brand exclusive distribution partner of the medical device manufacturer Nitto Denko Corp. (Japan) in Europe as well as in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the Middle East, Africa and South America.
The internationally active manufacturer Nitto Denko Corp. with approx. 30,000 employees developed the first Kinesiology Tape in 1984 and guarantees with its long Production experience and its ISO certifications by the German TÜV highest quality.

Countries and cooperation partners
At present the K-Active products are distributed in approx. 50 countries and enjoy there highest acknowledgment in the medical professional circles. Besides K-Active is cooperation partner of many Olympic and Universiade teams, national teams, national top teams and individual athletes. Alone in Germany K-Active currently supports six national top sports associations and has been equipping the German Olympic team with tape products at all games since 2006.
Also the K-Active tape products lead the predicate of the DOSB - "Recommended by the German Olympic Sports Federation"!

Future perspective
Due to the continuous expansion of K-Active, a new company headquarters was built near Aschaffenburg. Therewith new space and more possibilities for qualified and motivated employees as well as optimized logistics.
Our goal is to guarantee the highest quality and best service with a constantly increasing number of customers and turnover.

The training system
The basics of today's training system were still developed in the company Kinesio Deutschland GmbH. After the development of the brand K-Active the area of further education and training was integrated into the own company K-Active Systems GmbH was outsourced. In August 2017 this was taken over by K-Active Europe GmbH.
In order to meet the increasing number of course requests worldwide, the company has, in addition to the senior instructors, who were trained by Japanese instructors, new Instructors. Selection criteria for the instructors are, among other things, a very good medical know-how in various fields, but also personal suitability and Team spirit.
Intensive training of the candidates in the areas of taping, but also in other medical methods, followed. Thus many of our instructors were trained in Method "Anatomy Trains" by Thomas Myers, the "Fascia Release" techniques or the "Fascia distortion model according to Typaldos".

Apart from excellent contacts with Dr. Robert Schleip and his Fascia Research Team at the University of Ulm, or with the French hand surgeon and researcher Dr. Guimberteau, the company also has excellent contacts with other researchers also contributes to the further development of the method in cooperation with universities, technical schools or organisations such as the Fascia Research Society.
A professor from Poland, doctors, therapists, non-medical practitioners, sports scientists and other people working in medicine make up the group of almost 50 instructors, junior instructors and aspirants. Through the regular exchange of information and the instructor meetings, which take place every six months, it is guaranteed that all instructors are at the same, very high scientific level.

Vision
In the future, K-Active would like to integrate the holistic method of K-Active Taping in other medical specialties to offer even more athletes and patients the opportunity, to be and remain happier and healthier than ever before. Contact with universities, research institutions and associations will also be expanded in order to contribute to scientific background of this method even more intensively with studies and other work.


K-Active Hungary Kft.
Already in 1996 the NAWA Hungary Kft. was founded by the two managing directors Maria Eich (Hungary) and Siegfried Breitenbach (Germany). The aim was to offer medical advanced training and to distribute corresponding sports-specific products in Hungary. Courses specialising mainly in sports physiotherapy quickly established themselves in Hungary. The satisfied Training partners included a renowned sports hospital in Budapest and the Hungarian Olympic Committee.
Already in 2003 the first courses in Kinesiology Taping were offered, which was pioneering work at that time. In the meantime, courses in Kinesiology Taping are regularly offered for the medical staff, but also for trainers, which are carried out by international as well as local Hungarian instructors.
In 2012 the name was changed to K-Active Hungary Kft. to reflect the main business field.

Beside these general courses K-Active Hungary Kft. also offers courses for physiotherapy students in cooperation with different universities. Furthermore courses are also offered for international physiotherapy classes are offered and it is an honour for K-Active to train young people from many countries of the world in this method, which then combine the common ideas with into the world - for the benefit of patients.
Furthermore, K-Active supports bachelor theses and studies in cooperation with the mentioned universities to further substantiate the method scientifically.

K-Active Hungary Kft. is cooperation partner of many national teams and top teams and supports the Hungarian Olympic team regularly with material and medical know-how.
K-Active is proud that the junior instructor Edit Bosnyák has been appointed to the Hungarian medical team for the Olympic Games 2012 in London and Rio 2016.


K-Active Switzerland GmbH
K-Active Switzerland GmbH was founded in 2013 by the two managing directors Siegfried Breitenbach from K-Active Europe GmbH (Germany) and Peter Ambühl from Medidor AG (Switzerland). Goal is to offer the successful K-Active courses in the future also in Switzerland, so that also the Swiss medical staff has the possibility to train in K-Active Taping ...to leave.
Workshops and courses were held, among others, at the well-known paraplegic clinic in Nottvil and the Swiss Podiatrist Association. Courses in horse taping have also been held with great success instead.
Also, in cooperation with Swiss universities, further studies in the field of Kinesiology Taping are carried out and Bachelor theses are supported.
