How is the K-Active® Tape Gentle different from K-Active® Tape Classic?

The key difference lies in the adhesive: While the Classic K-Active Tape® uses a strong, reliable acrylic adhesive suitable for normal skin, K-Active® Tape Gentle features the innovative Stratagel adhesive.

This adhesive provides the same secure hold during application as a conventional acrylic adhesive, but when the tape is removed, it breaks down within itself. As a result, the tape releases from the skin form the inside out without pulling, which is a major advantage for sensitive, delicate or previously damaged skin, offering a far greater safety and comfort.

The elasticity and therapeutic properties of Tape Gentle are identical to those of K-Active® Tape Classic. This makes it suitable for almost all taping applications and just as versatile in therapeutic use with the added benefit of a significantly gentler removal thanks to Stratagel technology.
