KFORCE Plates: To assess your lower limb strength and balance
The KFORCE Plates are an innovative product for rehabilitating balance and assessing the symmetry and strength of the lower limb muscles.
The KFORCE Plates are easy to install and connect. The KFORCE App protocols evaluate important factors for lower extremity balance and strength: left as well as right lower extremity loading, depth perception balance, centre of pressure, and max strength and symmetry. Each plate has an area of 320 x 160 mm and can support forces up to 300 kg (600 kg for both).
Advantages
The KFORCE Plates are equipped with an electronic pressure transducer and send real-time audio and visual biofeedback to your smartphone or tablet via the KFORCE App. This product takes advantage of new technologies with the Internet of Things and Rehab Games. This device turns rehabilitation into a game and gives important readings to the therapist or trainer. It also measures progress in lower limb strength and symmetry through its intuitive app. KFORCE Plates are lightweight and can be easily used by ambulatory professionals such as physiotherapists and personal trainers.

Objective strength and balance analysis at a clinical level
The K-FORCE Plates V3 from Kinvent are portable force plates designed for the quantitative measurement of ground reaction forces, weight distribution and postural control. They enable a detailed analysis of both static and dynamic loading conditions and provide reproducible measurement data for therapy, training and performance diagnostics. Thanks to high-precision sensor technology (measurement accuracy of approx. 0.1%), muscular asymmetries, strength deficits and compensation strategies can be reliably assessed. Parameters such as centre of pressure (CoP), symmetry indices and stability parameters provide an objective basis for clinical decision-making and training management.
Validated measurement parameters and real-time data analysis
The K-FORCE Plates V3 measure relevant biomechanical parameters for assessing neuromuscular performance and postural stability. These include, amongst others, weight distribution, force-time curves, the Romberg ratio, and the confidence ellipse for analysing sway amplitude.
The wireless connection via Bluetooth to the Kinvent app enables real-time visualisation of all measurement data. Standardised test protocols and automated reporting support structured documentation and progress analysis, which are essential for evidence-based rehabilitation and performance diagnostics.
Wide range of applications in rehabilitation and sports science
Applications include static balance tests, single-leg stance analyses, isometric maximum strength tests (e.g. IMTP), functional strength measurements during squats or push-ups, and assessment-specific return-to-play protocols.
By recording data from both standing surfaces separately, lateral differences can be analysed in detail and Limb Symmetry Indices (LSI) calculated. The high load capacity of up to 600 kg per plate enables use in both clinical settings and performance-oriented athletic training.
Mobile system solution with high load-bearing capacity
Weighing approximately 2 kg per plate and offering a battery life of up to 20 hours, the K-Force Plates V3 provide maximum flexibility in practice, clinical or field settings. Their robust construction ensures long-term measurement stability even under heavy use.
The system is quick to set up, can be integrated wirelessly and enables the efficient implementation of objective strength and balance analyses into existing diagnostic and therapeutic workflows.
