Cupping glasses & silicone cupping cups
Cupping - the millennia-old method of traditional Chinese medicine - is also very popular in Germany. Looking for a gentle way to relieve your muscle tension and boost your circulation? Then let yourself be pampered by our cupping glasses! Whether glass, silicone, manual or automatic - we offer you a wide selection of cupping tools!
Find out what is important for cupping and which cupping glass is perfect for your needs below.
What are cupping glasses?
Cupping glasses are small bell-shaped vessels made primarily of glass or silicone. They come in different sizes, variations, and colors. When used, the cupping glasses are placed specifically on the skin. By squeezing or heating them, a vacuum is created, "sucking in" the affected area of the body. The vacuum created can help the body release tension, strengthen the immune system, and stimulate metabolism and lymph flow.
Cupping: This is how it is done!
Basically, cupping can be done in three different ways, dry, bloody or by massage. First, depending on the cupping method, either one or more vessels are placed on your skin.
Cupping glasses made of silicone can simply be squeezed. This causes the air to escape from the inside and the skin underneath to be sucked in. A negative pressure is created, which may feel unfamiliar and "pulling" at first. After a maximum of 15 minutes, the cupping glasses should be removed.
In addition to the benefits mentioned above, such as relaxed muscles or improved metabolism, cupping therapy is primarily a stimulation therapy. Cupping can activate the reflex zones of the skin. These are connected to certain internal organs via nerve pathways.
The "head zones" can, due to the nerve connections, trigger disorders such as pain or hypersensitivity in the connected skin area. Treatment with cupping glasses can effectively treat the affected skin areas and improve the condition of the internal organs. As a rule, not only a single cupping glass is used, but several cupping glasses in a set.
What does cupping do?
Cupping therapy helps to improve blood circulation in the body and release internal blockages.
Cupping is able to help with a variety of health problems.
The most common complaints include:
Tensions (muscles)
Cupping can help loosen hardened muscles and relieve joint pain.
Headache
The use of the so-called suction ball can possibly lead to improved blood circulation in the head area and help relieve corresponding pain.
Cold
Strong blood circulation can possibly have an impact on the immune system and possibly help reduce the risk of flu-like infections.
Stress
Cupping can be part of a wellness program, lowering stress levels and helping to relax.
In addition, cupping can provide relief from many other symptoms.

Cupping methods
Cupping is versatile and is applied to different parts of the body such as legs, back, arms, the abdomen or face. There are basically three different types of cupping: dry cupping, bloody cupping, and massage with the suction ball. Not every method is suitable for self-treatment. Please keep in mind that bloody cupping should only be practiced by alternative practitioners and therapists.
Bloody cupping
First, the part of the body to be treated is disinfected. Before the cupping glass is applied, the skin is lightly scratched. The negative pressure allows the blood to escape from the cut and collect in the cupping glass. This procedure is especially helpful for acute pain.
Cupping massage
Massage with a suction ball is a combination of dry cupping and a massage that promotes blood circulation. First, the skin areas to be treated are oiled. The cupping glasses are then moved back and forth over the affected areas of the body over a large area, which has a stronger effect than a usual massage.
Dry cupping
Dry cupping also involves creating negative pressure on the affected area. During the suction, red blood cells come out and the skin is strongly supplied with blood. This procedure is helpful for permanent muscular complaints.
Which cupping glass suits me?
Cupping glasses come in different materials and combinations. Some require heat to create a vacuum, others achieve the same effect by squeezing the cupping tool. In our online store we mainly offer products that you can use without hesitation for self-treatment.

How to properly use silicone cups for cupping - quick guide
Before you start, you should scan your body for pain spots. Especially in the back region, look for swelling, asymmetries and other changes in the skin.
To avoid irritation of the periosteum, the spine and bony prominences should be omitted during cupping.
Please keep in mind that bruises and circular bruises are normal effects of negative pressure massage. They are not problematic and will disappear after a few days.
Cupping with vacuum pump
Besides the manual cupping method with silicone cups, there is also the possibility to simplify your cupping massage with the help of a vacuum pump. Thanks to BellaBambi ® multi you can continuously regulate the desired vacuum and the intensity of your cups. The advantage? No more annoying squeezing. Save your hands and reach even narrow body parts and joints easily! Since the negative pressure is generated automatically, you can easily concentrate on the treatment and relax even better.
