6D Tape -
The special lymph tape
Lymphtape has established a remarkable presence in the world of medical therapies and physiotherapy aids. As an effective method of lymphatic drainage, this special tape has proven itself as a complement to physiotherapy. Using targeted taping techniques, it optimizes lymph flow, reduces swelling and promotes the body's natural healing process. Its wide range of applications extends from relieving knee pain and reducing arm swelling to helping with problems such as cysts and post-operative breast surgery.
What is Lymphtape?
Lymphtape is a special medical tape for lymphatic drainage and support of the lymphatic system. It is designed to stimulate lymphatic drainage, reduce swelling and support the body's natural healing abilities. The special tape is often used in physiotherapy and rehabilitation to treat various symptoms related to lymphatic congestion, swelling and other lymphatic problems.
How does Lymphtape differ from other tape methods?
Lymphtape differs from other taping methods primarily in its specific use and purpose. Unlike conventional tapes, which are often used to stabilize joints and muscles, Lymphtape is designed to improve lymph flow and reduce lymph congestion. Compared to other tapes, which are designed to be tight and stable, Lymphtape is flexible and supports lymphatic drainage at the same time. The way it is applied depends on the desired effect and the patient's condition. They are placed along the lymphatic vessels to reduce swelling and promote lymph flow.
How does Lymphtape work during lymphatic drainage?
Lymphtape is an excellent aid for lymphatic drainage. By applying it along the lymphatic vessels, gentle pressure stimulates lymph circulation, which in turn stimulates drainage of the tissue. The taping method supports the natural process of lymphatic drainage in the body. For optimum results, it is important to apply the tape according to the individual lymph flow direction.
What are the advantages of using Lymphtape compared to other lymphatic drainage methods?
Compared to conventional lymphatic drainage methods, Lymphtape has several notable advantages. On the one hand, it enables a more targeted and individualized adaptation to patient needs. It can be applied to specific areas of the body, reducing swelling and supporting lymphatic circulation.
Furthermore, Lymphtape is a non-invasive method and does not require any special manual techniques, as is the case with manual lymphatic drainage. Lymphatic taping also gives patients a certain degree of independence and flexibility in their daily lives. Conventional lymphatic drainage methods are often only used during the treatment session, whereas Lymphtape can be used for longer periods of time.
Areas of application for Lymphtape
Lymphtape is widely used in various areas, from post-operative treatment to edema treatment and sports injury therapy.
- Post-operative treatment:Lymphtape is often used after surgery to reduce swelling and support the healing process. It supports lymph flow and tissue regeneration.
- Edema reduction: For various types of edema, including injuries, chronic conditions and during rehabilitation, Lymphtape can help reduce swelling and promote the drainage of tissue fluid.
- Sports injuries: For sports injuries such as sprains, strains or overuse injuries, Lymphtape can help relieve pain, reduce swelling and speed recovery.
Lymphtape and Baker's cysts
When using Lymphtape on Baker's cysts, a painful swelling behind the knee, the tape can help to relieve the cyst and alleviate discomfort. Targeted application and specific placement of the tape around the affected area creates a slight compression that supports lymphatic drainage. In this way, swelling can be reduced and the body's natural healing mechanisms activated at the same time.
General instructions for using Lymphtape
1. Before you apply the Lymphtape, the skin must be clean, dry and free of hair. Start by thoroughly cleansing the skin to remove dirt and oils.
2. Then cut the Lymphtape to the desired length and round off the ends.
3. Carefully remove the protective paper and do not touch the adhesive surface directly. Apply the Lymphtape to the skin without stretching it excessively. If stretching is necessary, e.g. for a twist in the tape, we recommend a maximum stretch of 15 percent. Press the Lymphtape again for maximum adhesion.
4. Wait 15 minutes before stimulating the tissue via the activation pads. Move the tape in different directions: lift, twist, stretch and press.
5. To remove the lymph tape after several days, simply unroll it along the skin. The removal process can be made easier by rubbing lightly.
Buy Lymphtape
Our high-quality Lymphtape, the innovative 6D Tape, impresses with its outstanding effectiveness and quality. Developed to optimize lymphatic drainage and promote the natural healing process, the 6D Tape offers remarkable benefits. With its distinctive activation pads, it enables gentle and effective treatment of swelling and pain, contributing to accelerated recovery.
The study clearly shows that the targeted application of the 6D Tape helps to move the fluids in the interstitial space, which is the space between the body cells, towards the natural lymphatic system. This promotes the transportation of lymph within the superficial lymphatic collectors. In simple terms, this means that the 6D Tape can help to move fluids in the body and support the flow of lymphatic fluid.
