Of course, you can also put together your very own training programme and adjust the strength level of each exercise individually.
Isometric training - building muscle with counter-pressure
In isometric training the muscles are loaded without moving them up and down or in any other direction. This means that the muscles work without you having to actively stretch them. This training method, in contrast to eccentric or concentric training, has a huge advantage: it is easy on the joints because resistance is built up and held in a specific position. With the other two forms of training, resistance must either be counteracted or overcome.
