No compromise for your safety: By wearing the surgical face mask, you reduce the risk of inhaling bacteria and viruses. At the same time, you protect those around you from your own CO2 emissions.

To reduce the risk of infection, a minimum distance of 1.5 metres from other people is one of the top priorities. Especially if this distance cannot be maintained, a safe protective mask should be worn.

The surgical mask can be worn in everyday life. For example, it is suitable for complying with the obligation to wear at least one medical mask in public transport. (In some federal states, even the even safer FFP2 masks are compulsory - find out about the regulations in your federal state).

This mouthguard also meets all the requirements for a surgical mask, which is needed in hospitals, for example.

Higher protection than a conventional mouth-nose mask

The filtering effect of such a mask is supported by the static charge created by the friction of the different layers. As a result, particles in the breathing air are attracted to the fabric and cannot pass through the microscopically small spaces between the fibres unhindered. The testing of this mask by the HygCen Austria GmbH testing institute showed a filter effectiveness of up to 99.88 %.

A certified medical face mask differs from a regular mouth-nose mask, among other things, in its resistance to liquid splashes from outside. This surgical mask effectively keeps contaminated liquids out and is therefore also suitable for use in the operating theatre.
