THE MOST PERSONALIZED ELECTROTHERAPY EVER!
Electrotherapy that adapts each new electrical impulse to the body in real time? It does exist!
Bioadaptive Impulse Therapy does exactly that: after each impulse is delivered, the body’s “response reaction” is measured and the next impulse is adapted to the body’s needs. There is possibly no more individualized form of electrotherapy!
What is bioadaptive impulse therapy?
Originally developed in Russia, bioadaptive impulse therapy is a type of electrotherapy. What makes it special is that the electrical impulses are not delivered to the body at a constant frequency.
The devices specially developed for this method not only measurethe body’s feedback after each pulse delivery, but they also adjustthe next pulse to the tissue and its condition.
What is bioadaptive impulse therapy used for?
Like the proven electrotherapy, bioadaptive impulse therapy aims primarily at pain relief and activation of the self-healing powers. Its positive effects on the vegetative nervous system stimulate the body’s own adaptation and regulation processes as well as healing processes.
It is used
to relief acute and chronic complaints
for muscular and organic dysfunctions
to activate autoreparative healing processes
to support the self-regulation of the nervous system
to alleviate lymphatic problems, such as lymphedema
for performance enhancement and regeneration in sports
and much more!
How does bioadaptive impulse therapy work?
The measurementof the body’s “response signal” – the tissue damping properties – after the impulse is delivered takes place within fractions of a second, as does its evaluationby an integrated processor in the device.
Just as quickly as the measurement is made, the next pulse is adjusted and delivered.
Step 1: Impulse delivery
The device starts with the first pulse emission as soon as skin contact is established. The electrical current is delivered to the superficial receptors of the skin.
Step 2: Impulse reception
The receptors of the skin receive the impulse and process this stimulus.
Step 3: Impulse transmission
The information of the impulse is transmitted to the spinal, central and neurohumoral levels.
Step 4: Impulse response
The information is responded to by the spinal and central systems with an endogenous impulse.
Step 5: Impulse evaluation
The device measures the body’s “response” in terms of (altered) tissue dampening properties. A processor integrated in the device processes this information.
Step 6/1: Adjusted impulse delivery
The newly delivered pulse is already adapted to the information received. The cycle begins.
What are the contraindications and side effects?
As with regular electrotherapy, treatment with bioadaptive pulse therapy should be avoidedin the following cases:
in case of injuries of the skin, such as in case of open or not completely healed wounds
in body orifices
for carriers of active implants, such as cardiac pacemakers
in the uterus area (womb) in pregnant women
in case tumors
in case of cardiac arrhythmia
in malignant diseases without medical consultation
The bioadaptive impulse therapy is almost free of side effects. It should be mentioned, however, that in rare cases an intensification of symptoms (“initial worsening”) may occur during application, as the body “dynamizes”. The patient may experience pain, sore muscles or other reactions, which usually subside after a short time. In such situations, treatment should be suspended for a few days and, if in doubt, a physician should be consulted.
Allergic reactions in response to materials contained in the device must also be considered.
Conclusion
Bioadaptive impulse therapy uses proven electrotherapy and combines it with state-of-the-art technology to address the body’s personal needs. The wide treatment spectrum and the simple application make it a tool of daily use in (sports) physiotherapy!
The Physiokey® revolutionizes a therapy method
Based on many years of knowledge in the field of bioadaptive controlled impulse therapy, the physiokey®is characterized by a significant plus in efficiency and handling. It stimulates self-regulation through adapted impulses. The medical device influences the autonomic nervous system and thus the body’s own adaptation and regulation processes.
In addition to bioregulation, the physiokey® software has a diagnostic tool. For this purpose, the area of the body to be treated is “scanned” with the device and numerical values are obtained which lead to the so-called key points (“points of entry”). At the same time, a harmonizationcan already be carried out at these points before continuing with the bioregulation.
The physiokey® is also capable of keyphoresis, a type of iontophoresis. This allows ionized ointments and liquids to be better directed into the body.
This tool even offers the possibility to select whether the ointments are alkaline or acidic based.
These diverse areas of application make the physiokey® a must-have for the therapy of all age groups and a wide variety of complaints, in sports for performance enhancement and regeneration as well as after injuries and operations.
